Today is going to be a no hiking day! After yesterday my poor body and my nerves are taking a break! 
Today we went out on the Kenai River with Ranger Barber. We rode along with him while he made sure everything on the river was okay and we also helped him put up some signs. It was a nice peaceful day. Ranger Barber has been a ranger since 1984. He is packed full of knowledge. He knows just about everything there is to know around here. He taught us a lot and shared some great information with us. If you're ever in these parts and you want to know something, whether it be about hiking trails (he's hiked them all!) or fishing spots, look him up! He will know the answer. It was an amazing day with beautiful scenery and great conversation. We got to see lots of eagles too!
